REMARKS ON COLOR

REMARKS ON COLOR  artist's book: waterless offset litho with blind emboss, 3-volume set, case bound & slipcased, edition of 100, 1997

REMARKS ON COLOR

A 3-volume set that examines the language used to name paint colors. The title derives from Wittgenstein's famous treatise on color. Wegner's set of books explores his own series of paintings by the same name. COLOR shows just the color fields of those paintings. REMARKS shows both the color name & code number, but no color. The third and final volume, REMARKS ON COLOR, combines both color fields and text elements.
